This Mala is made from Amber beads called burmite, which are hand-turned. Burmese Amber is considered the oldest on Earth, at least 90-100 million years old from the Cretaceous Period. It is the hardest Amber on the planet.

Most of the beads have inclusions of plant matter. Rustic in form and a few of the beads have slight chips. Each bead is so unique and some of them have light colors mixed in. Strung on silk thread which is very strong and durable. Has a yellow tassel. Consists of 111 beads.

Use this necklace as a Mala, or beads can be used individually.

Fedex Shipments - You will receive shipping confirmation and a tracking number via email. Signatures may be required on delivery of your package. You may track your package online. In case of damage, you must save packaging, take photos to document, and notify us immediately.

Freight Shipments -Please include your contact tel. with your order. The freight company will call to set up a delivery appointment with you. All deliveries are curbside, a ‘lift gate’ truck is provided for very heavy items. You will be responsible for bringing your purchase from curbside into your home. If the crating/packing appears to be damaged, the driver must notified at time of delivery. Please unpack the item before the driver leaves.

Smaller items sent by USPS and Fedex are insured. If damage is noted please save all material and take pictures for your claim. Damage claims are the responsibility of the buyer. Claims may be filed with 3-14 days after receipt of your item. Signatures required on all Fedex deliveries.

Items are delivered curbside. They are palleted and crated and you will need to disassemble it with a screw gun. The freight company will call to set up an appointment for delivery. We send photos of the piece in the crate and instructions. White Glove service requires an extra fee and must be scheduled prior to shipping.

We do not accept returns of antique or vintage items.

All sales are final unless previously discussed in writing.
Notification of Return must be within five days.
There is a 25% restocking fee for cancelled or returned items.
Items must be returned to us within 30 days in same condition as purchased to receive a refund.

One I saw this Amber Mala I knew I really wanted it for my collection. And yes, I purchased it. I did find that many of of the amber beads were very dark, without a glow, but there were enough beads with a glow to overtook my disappoint. The best news...I love the mala...it's diffident use over time...color changes...nicks here and there...size and all! Thanks so much for a quality item! All expectations met. Carol
